An outstanding opportunity is available for a Capacity Planning Engineer based in Cleveland, OH or Albany, NY.Your primary function will be to configure, and test third party infrastructure and applications, and ensure their compatibility with the Key environment and with other workstation applications. Specific duties include, but are not limited to: Researching and analyzing data to provide capacity and performance levels Monitoring industry trends related to capacity and performance, as well as key performance indicators Interacting with technology engineering staff to assess the impact of technology solutions Acting as technical consultant for mainframe performance and capacity issues Helping translate translates business needs into resource requirements and analyzing system data to determine the impact of change to the mainframe environment Researching new techniques for mainframe measurement and tuning and participating in benchmarking applications The candidate we seek will have: At least 5+ years' experience in a large network, mainframe, storage or distributed servers environment; this must include IBM zSeries hardware, RMF/SMF SAS reporting, monitoring tools (such as Omegamon), CA MICS or IBM TDS and Workload Manager Expertise in network, mainframe, storage, or distributed servers hardware and infrastructure Hands-on knowledge of Capacity Planning techniques and Performance analysis highly desirableTraining Provided: Standard enterprise-wide compliance training required.Life at Key is exciting, challenging, and rewarding.
