Business Unit Compliance Analyst - Lead our process improvement activities

OVERVIEW/GENERAL DESCRIPTION   Developing and performing Hazard process audits based on client, regulatory and internal requirements. This includes analyzing records, reports, regulations and operating practices and correspondingly communicating and reporting on process adherence to each.  Additionally, this position is responsible for leading process improvement activities for Hazard Operations.  This includes defining, measuring and analyzing process opportunities (quality, efficiency, capacity) and subsequently recommending improvements based on cost/benefit analysis.    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONSIdentifies and develops process controls based on client, regulatory and internal requirements Performs process audits and supplies corresponding measurement and reporting for Operations Management Documents Hazard processes through the use of standardized tools (e.g.  SIPOC, process maps, time studies…etc) Performs quantitative and qualitative process analysis and communicates results to Operations Management Assists in the maintenance of process documents and audit results ensuring accuracy and relevance Participates, and in some cases leads, in client phone conferences where process and regulatory controls are reviewed and addressed Works with other members of management to develop and implement process improvements Creates and presents Compliance packages for Operations leadership Prioritizes and implements process improvement projects based on cost benefit analysis Monitors and tracks implemented process improvements to ensure realized benefits Recommends change to process policies and procedures as necessary Effectively communicates regulatory issues to Operations Management in order to ensure process compliance and adherence.  Serves as a resource for others in the resolution of complex process and regulatory issues Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Process improvement experience Strong compliance knowledgePreferred Qualifications: At least 3 years of operational audit experience At least 3 years of process improvement experience (Six Sigma preferred) At least two years of mortgage or insurance industry experience Additional Information Position Type: Full Time, Employee Ref Code: 16865 Email this job to a friend "Assurant Specialty Property is an organization of high achievers.
