We also manage to keep a sense of humor along the way.  So if you’re ready for WaMu, read on!  Drive the activities and behaviors that support front office operations for the FC Network on key business initiatives.  Work with FC Distribution teams, internal teams, and business partners to ensure the accurate implementation of initiatives, procedures and regulatory adherence.   This position will be responsible for ensuring corporate driven policy and procedure changes are operationalized in the FCs and reference tools are updated and the process steps are clear.  The intake for work will be through project implementation, audit rememedation and control testing programs.  In addition they will have execution responsibilities that involves building and managing the plan, leading meetings, ensuring solutions, meeting strategic needs, documenting and communicating initiative status.  *Understanding of WaMu OpEx methodology and project management principles, theories and concepts. *Identifying operational impacts, preparing task outlines and user requirements in addition to clarifying and documenting processes, policies and procedures and ensuring there are metrics to monitor and track results. *Understanding of change impact, quality management, shareholder management, integration management, conflict resolution, executive level communications, strategic planning and analysis, execution, risk management identification and mitigation planning. *Knowledge of business process improvement, measurement concepts, quality assurance principles and concepts relative to standards and procedures, review process, reporting and continuous improvement. *3 to 7 years fo successful operations experience. *Must be proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint    Washington Mutual is an equal opportunity employer.
