Responsibilities
As part of the regional business development team in our franchise dealer focused regional buy center, you will report to the Regional Business Development Manager and be accountable for meeting and achieving volume, quality, and market penetration objectives within your defined territory. Your responsibilities will include:
Ensuring regional assigned quotas and market penetration goals are met or exceeded consistently.Developing and maintaining relationships with dealers in assigned territory that are effective in achieving objectives. Responding to dealer needs and inquiries regarding Fireside’s product offerings. Completing and following up on documentation and information for dealer contracts, account contracts and other territory management administration as required.Developing approaches for increasing Fireside’s share of business through existing accounts.Identifying and implementing strategies to increase market share by developing relationships with new dealers.Calling on accounts to ensure that company product offerings, programs and policies are communicated and adopted in a manner consistent with the rest of the organization.Introducing and promoting Fireside business and product offerings to potential new dealership accounts. Influencing sales through relationships and presentation of Fireside’s program benefits to dealers. Maintaining a working knowledge of legal environment (Federal and State) applicable to lending within your territory.Maintaining current knowledge of trends, industry issues and opportunities, affecting your territory and leveraging in territory development and management.Establishing and maintaining relationships with your regional team to facilitate smooth flow of communication, information exchange and problem resolution.Providing superior customer support by anticipating changing needs of the dealers in assigned territory & respond timely and efficient manner.
Qualifications
Qualified candidates will possess:BA/BS in business, management, finance or related field.3-5 years experience in Banking/Finance industry.Minimum 2 years specifically in Auto Lending industry leadership position preferred, either within large dealer or financial institution.Minimum 5 years in similar function, including sales and business development responsibilities.Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales quotas, successfully penetrate new markets and introduce new programs and products into both existing and new account base.Strong working knowledge of auto lending/finance concepts and principals.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as presentation skills. Ability to cold call new accounts, position and present a company’s business proposition to influence establishment of new accounts, or redevelopment of existing accounts.Must be able to effectively develop and maintain relationships with franchise dealer management and personnel.Assertiveness and energetic approach with good business acumen and customer service focus.
