Job Description

The opportunity for this candidate will focus on various brokerage operations, learning new accounts and all aspects of trading software setups. This person will be asked to adopt projects at various levels of completion and successfully manage them. This candidate will need to be adaptive, and self-motivated.

Responsibilities

 

Ø       Support retail and professional clients on trading software and account related questions.

Ø       Expected to learn customer processes and systems.

Ø       Interaction with clearing firm(s) on new accounts, settlement, accounting and technical issues.

Ø       Maintains professional and technical knowledge of the industry and contributes to the overall team effort.

 

Qualifications:

 

Ø       Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college preferred.

Ø       Securities Registrations: NASD Series 7 License required (or must be completed in 90 days).

Ø       Extensive knowledge of the US securities markets

Ø       Excellent quantitative/analytical skills.

Ø       Proficient in Excel, MS Word and Outlook/E-mail.

Ø       Excellent oral and written communication skills
