Branch Manager - Brunswick, GA

SunTrust Bank, a leader in the Banking Industry is looking for a Branch Manager who are creative, career-oriented employees who will strengthen our market presence and enhance shareholder value.   Responsible for driving branch performance results through direction, leadership and execution of superior sales and service behaviors and activities by the entire team in order to meet/exceed branch sales goals. Plans, organizes, directs, and controls the activities of a branch, and ensures effective execution of the SunTrust Branch Operating Model. Conducts outside sales to bring in new business banking clients, while also maintaining and expanding existing personal and business banking relationships. Meets/exceeds individual sales and referral goals.  Provides expertise in operational and risk management policies and procedures. Conducts sales meetings and coordinates strategy with Area Manager. Responsible for the selection and retention of top talent, preparation and conducting of timely performance reviews and pay decisions within the branch. Licensed Branch Managers hold an insurance license and may also have variable annuity Series 6 and 63.   Minimum Requirements: High School education or equivalent. 2 years supervisory/management experience and 2 years sales experience.  Demonstrate a strong sales and service orientation with the ability to coach and lead a team to grow the business and effectively serve the customer. Preferred Requirements: Post High School education. 2 year experience as a Branch Manager or equivalent supervisory/management experience in the financial services industry.
