The Sr. Sales Associate is the advanced sales support role within GTM, providing sales support to internal and external customers. In addition to the pre-sales responsibilities that support revenue growth, the Sr. Associate will perform independent client sales activities. These will include phone sales, follow up with client initiated sales, independent sale generation, ability to demonstrate all products and other independent sales activities. The Sr. Associate will work as part of the sales team supporting between 3-6 sales managers. The Sr. Associate will have face-to-face contact with prospective clients. The Sr. Associate will call on customers with the Sales Manager, but on occasion they will call on their own. The Sr. Associate will have direct involvement in portfolio growth and new sales goal for the Regional Team.

The Sr. Sales Associate will:
*Demonstrate familiarity with the client's treasury management structure and relevant priorities
*Respond to concerns with commitment to action
*Act as an advocate for the client within BMO Harris Bank
*Respond to client needs by recommending product enhancements
*Take a lead role in sales calling efforts
*Use excellent written and verbal communication skills to create complex pitch books and RFP responses
*Lead significant segments of pitches and other client meetings
*Organize demonstrations of GTM services
*Understand the impact of deadlines on task scheduling and work allocation
*With Sales Managers, negotiate pricing reviews with Product Management and the Pricing Desk
*Advocate between clients and other GTM teams to enhance responsiveness and quality
*Deliver client projects in a timely way by working effectively with others
*Schedule and take the lead on client calls with or without a Sales Manager
*Develop trusted relationships with our relationship managers
*Demonstrate working knowledge of clients' cash flow, cash positions and GTM/other banks' products currently used
*Acquire sales skills at BMO Harris Bank and via external courses

Job Requirements:
*Ability to demonstrate working knowledge of clients' cash flow, cash positions and GTM/other banks' products currently used
*Computer literacy as applicable to perform the responsibilities of the job effectively and efficiently.
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*Excellent customer service skills and relationship building abilities required to effectively manage client needs
*Proven experience preparing and presenting presentations
*Ability to function as a \"self starter\"; capable of working independently and autonomously on assignments
*Excellent task management and time management skills

*Bachelor's Degree preferred
*3+ years experience in a related field, accounting, finance, GTM, client servicing interaction or sales preferred
