The Application Programmer is responsible for designing and developing programs utilizing Microsoft C# in the ASP.NET/AJAX (including Javascript) environment. Specific applications include internet banking maintenance and enhancements, mobile banking using SMS and IVR using the Pronexus platform. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated individual, capable of working individually or in small teams. The candidate must be able to quickly understand new systems and business processes from the customer’s perspective.
Essential Duties
Enhance existing products by refactoring current codebase to meet industry guidelines. Develop new modules for use in existing systems. Maintain existing programs and aid installation and support with day to day issue resolution as needed. Will be required to perform other technical and software development duties as requested, directed or assigned
Essential Skills
Experience in core systems, general bank processing, internet development, IVR development, imaging, banking I/T, and/or banking software field Must be detail-oriented, extremely accurate and be able to think logically Strong relational database skills, including experience with large enterprise applications. Experience in ASP.NET with AJAX. Ability to easily analyze and prioritize information, distilling it to the critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions Ability to understand business processes, and anticipate how decisions will affect the business users 4-year degree, either BA or BS in computer science is preferred 2+ years experience using Microsoft SQL Server or other SQL database 1-2 years of hands-on experience with C#, ASP.NET
