Summary: Acting as an integral contributor to the Southwest Securities, FSB management team, the Banking Center President role will focus on the expansion of the bank’s Ft. Worth community presence through solidifying business relationships within Ft. Worth and the surrounding area.  This includes growing the banking center revenues and profitability, identifying cross sales opportunities within the bank and the broker/dealer as well as provide leadership and management to the banking center staff.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Working closely with the credit and operations functions with the bank, the Banking Center President will build upon the bank’s market position by locating, developing and closing business relationships for the purpose of originating and funding Commercial, Real Estate, and SBA loans.Collaborates with internal resources to expand new and existing customer relationships through cross-selling products and services offered through various bank business units as well as brokerage services offered through Southwest Securities, Inc.Recruits established and result oriented sales professionals, as well as provides leadership to existing staff in order to meet sales objectives.Continually evaluates the banking center’s structure and staff against market trends with an eye towards continual improvement of the business, banking center products and the development of individuals through professional and personal growth opportunities. Attends off-site business events and functions, community sponsored events and networking opportunities in association with the development of lending opportunities and account expansion.Maintains compliance with the bank’s credit and SBA eligibility requirements as well as follows banking regulations outlined through BSA, AML, OFAC and CIP.Works in conjunction with the Southwest Securities, FSB executive management team in delivering on the goals and objectives set through the annual strategic planning sessions.Other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:Experience:Role requires minimum of 5-10 years banking management experience and 10-15 years relevant commercial loan experience.  Incumbent will possess a strong Commercial loan bank ground that includes established, long term relationships with customers in the Ft. Worth marketplace.  A working knowledge of SBA and Residential Lending would be helpful, but not required.Proven ability to develop and manage a banking center business plan and operate within budget while maintaining high level of branch customer service.Demonstrated leadership, problem-solving abilities and strong attention to detail.Ability to effectively present products and business plans on an individual and group setting level. Candidate must possess strong analytical, written, verbal and influencing skills. Proficiency in MS Office. Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Economics or Finance; or ten to fifteen years related experience and/or training in commercial banking and lending; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
