Bank Operations Officer

Summary/Job Description:Responsible for the completion of operational regulatory reporting and operational duties.   Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsible for the bank’s call report processing including:  a.  Knowledge & understanding of the call report preparation instructions.  a. Completing the bank’s call report on a quarterly basis, based on the call report instructions.  b. Complete the call report via the established automation process for entering data from the Jack Henry system.c. Review completed call report data for accuracy and maintain copies of supporting work papers.  d. Submit completed call report within designated timelines.  Responsible for the bank’s Vendor Management processes in compliance with GLBA:  a.  Knowledge & understanding of the GLBA Vendor Management regulatory compliance requirementsa. Maintain the bank’s vendor agreement files.b. Member of the bank’s privacy committee.  Present vendor management information to privacy committee.  c. Complete vendor (third party relationships) due diligenced. Maintain the bank’s vendor listing spreadsheet e. Schedule and officiate required vendor management meetings with bank personnel.  Responsible for the bank’s compliance with Record Retention requirements including:a. Develop and manage the bank’s record retention program including:1. Reviewing and updating the bank’s current retention schedule in compliance with regulatory requirements.  2. Review/update the bank’s records retention policy & procedures.3. Provide training to bank personnel of record retention policy & procedures. Back-up assistant for the following duties:a. Fixed Asset Inventory for all bank facilities including:1. Enter, delete or move assets into the appropriate facility using inventory software. 2. Balance inventory items to the bank’s FF&E depreciation schedules.3. Complete and document annual fixed asset inventory audits.  b. Stock record keeping processes:1. Enter, transfer or cancel holding company stock transactions using the stock recordkeeping software.  2.  Maintain stockholder files. c. Complete responsibilities as an EUAC (End User Authorization Contact) for Fedline Advantage and Fedweb.     d. Complete responsibilities as a LSA (Local Security Administrator for TT&L and Savings Bonds)e. Complete authorization level responsibilities to provide access to the members only area of the FHLB website.  Assist the SVP/Cashier with operational responsibilities including: a. Overseeing Jack Henry system upgrades and year end processes. b. Maintaining the bank’s insurance records and completing the renewal processes for (ie:  financial institution bond, bank building, D&O bond, keyman life insurance and electronic banking). c. Other duties/projects as assigned.   Establish and implement operating policies and procedures.Insure compliance with banking regulations and bank policies/procedures.  Maintains compliance in accordance with the Bank Secrecy Act and Anti-Money Laundering procedures.Performs other operational or bank duties as assigned  MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
