Description:About the OpportunityOur Sales and Service Representatives are energetic, reliable, and professional self starters who work with Alliance Data's customers by taking a wide range of inbound calls to resolve inquiries regarding their credit accounts. As a critical and essential part of their jobs, representatives must offer to our eligible customers value added products and are required to meet an established monthly goal. In addition, our representatives:- Resolve written customer inquiries- Update and document account information and records, identify, resolve and escalate any customer or store concerns in a timely manner, and respond to/redirect calls as appropriate- Send appropriate customer correspondence based on account status. - Follow established guidelines for quality and productivity- Process incoming mail- 'Authorize/decline purchases- Identify reasons for referrals and authorize/decline purchases. Interpret customer financial profile.In effort to create loyal customer relationships, our representatives must display enthusiasm and dedication to each call while balancing their talk time.Qualifications:Proficient in MS Windows/Outlook. Good verbal communications skills. Basic reading and math skills. Good organizational skills. Proven decision making ability. Ability to multi-task and prioritize while speaking with customers. Ability to work in a fast paced environment where changes to procedures is common. Ability to input and interpret data. Ability to work 40 hours per week. *Attendance is critical*Qualifications:Minimum Qualifications:' Good verbal and written communication skills with ability to multitask and prioritize ' Good organizational skills ' No stage of corrective action (attendance and/or performance)' Minimum high school degree with some college education, or equivalent knowledge of finance and accounting' High volume call center telephone experience required' Absolutely no attendance issues4 schedules (4pm-12:30am M-F/eo Sat and 1 Sun until 10pm)3 schedules (1:30-10pm M-F/eo Sat and 1 Sun a month)3 schedules (12:30-9 M-F/eo Sat and 1 Sun a month)Preferred Experience:' One to three years of finance, accounting or credit card experience with MasterCard or Visa products.'
