Major Responsibilities:
Responsible for new Business Development & Cross Sell (80%)
Responsible for increasing market coverage and penetration in target market. Proactively cross-sell referrals to other Performance Centers and close business. Provide face to face calls with targeted prospects. Network with referral sources. Telemarket in order to establish face to face meeting with cold and warm prospects' referral sources. Responsible for internal follow-up on live prospects including packaging proposals as well as directing the sales process for all appropriate Bank products. Develop territory to uncover prospects not currently in database.
Responsible for client management & risk management (10%)
Adherence to credit policy, quality of credit underwriting, BSA/AML policy, quality of KYC documentation, and proper risk management. Provide early detection of potential problems. Creative approach to problems. Ensure customer retention and satisfaction.
Corporate Responsibility (10%)
Implementation of Division/Region's Strategic Plan.
100% Utilization and Accuracy of technology for Customer, Prospect and Credit MIS, including ESB, AFS, RACER, TOPS and UTS. Demonstrate leadership and management skills across Bank and in the community.
Ability to establish appointments with targeted bank prospects.
Expertise in referral source development.
Skilled at identifying credit and noncredit needs of a variety of companies in diverse industries.
Proficient in credit underwriting and structuring.
Ability to make presentations of solutions and handle objections both within the bank and in the field.
Excellent oral and written communications skills."
10+ years commercial banking experience. B.A., B.S. or equivalent work experience.
