BSA OFFICER / FRAUD MANAGER - Banking EXP Only

The BSA Officer manages all aspects of BSA/AML/OFAC/CIP.

 

 

 



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 

Develop and maintain policies and procedures to address aspects of compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-money laundering regulations, Office of Foreign Asset Control and CIP regulations  Ensure that BSA/AML policies and procedures are updated as needed Monitor and supervise BSA/AML related processes and reporting to ensure compliance with federal regulations

 

File Suspicious Activity and Currency Transaction Reports within federal guidelines

 

Work directly with auditors and examiners during the review process

 

Manage the Fraud Department

 

Complete due diligence investigations of applicants applying for Deposit and Mortgage products

 

Conduct and supervise external and internal investigations of reported bank fraud.

 

Process various administrative functions on fraud claims such as financial adjustments and collecting documentation necessary for case settlement 

 

Coordinate with local, state and federal law enforcement, as well as other bank investigators to control and recover losses

 

Review daily fraud reports for suspicious transactions

 

Respond to questions raised by bank personnel on topics ranging from, bank fraud, deposits, lending activities, and compliance

 



Requirements:

 

 

A minimum of 5 - 7 years of management experience with BSA / AML / OFAC / CIP regulatory processes

 

A minimum of 5+ years managing a Fraud Deparment in a banking environment

Familiarity with all functional areas of banking

Excellent oral and written communication skills

Must be detail oriented in interpreting, analyzing, monitoring and reporting information

Ability to report and communicate effectively with senior management
