Job Description: 

The operations mail services Associate is responsible for receiving, sorting and processing incoming overnights and mail, as well as processing outgoing overnight packages. This position requires close attention to detail, a can-do attitude and problem solving skills.


Requirements:  Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and within a team environment. Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus one year of job-related experience or business/technical college. Ability to lift 50 lbs. knowledge of USPS regulations and procedures. Mailroom operations experience. Type 30+ WPM.

Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in the securities or banking industry. Business office, professional customer service, or accounting/bookkeeping experience. Proficient computer skills in Windows-based software products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.


Key Accountabilities:  Process and analyze incoming USPS and inter-company mail. Distribute mail in a timely manner along an established route. Weigh, meter, and process outgoing mail per USPS regulations. Code and update information in Overnight shipping and arrival system. Retrieve package arrival/ship information per branch/firm/department requests as needed. Deliver courier and overnight packages to individuals and departments. Responds to internal and external customers with information on mailing procedures and postal regulations. Distribute reports and change notifications. Assist with projects as assigned.
