This firm is seeking a 2nd or 3rd Year Investment Banking Associate to join their General Diversified corporate finance team in Toronto. The ideal candidate will be a top performer with between at least 4 years of experience in investment banking, possessing superior analytical skills as well as an excellent work ethic. This General Diversified sector coverage group encompasses Media, Technology, Power, Consumer Goods, and Industrial Products.

Responsibilities

* Monitoring and tracking of company, industry and market developments
* Preparing pitch books and presentations
* Preparing industry and comparable-company analysis and documentation to support financing transactions; Cash flow analysis and other valuation methodologies
* Carrying out extensive operating and financial due diligence
* Participating in the execution of M&A and financing transactions

Requirements

* Undergraduate degree in accounting, business, commerce or finance
* Superior analytical, critical thinking and quantitative skills
* Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentations skills
* Demonstrated initiative and maturity in dealing with assignments and clients
