Responsible for the development and growth of the business loan and deposit portfolio. Specifically responsible for developing a portfolio of small businesses, focusing on potential members with an annual sales range of $0 - $20 million.  Responsible for the overall commercial lending efforts of the credit union including, but not limited to: recruiting potential clients and building this segment of business, developing and implementing competitive loan products and depository products, training financial center staff in all manner of business lending, and the origination, processing, presentation, closing and tracking of business loan applications and closed loans.  Ensures product and portfolio compliance with NCUA and other applicable laws and regulations.College Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related degree required as well as a minimum of three (3) years commercial loan, business services and supervisory skills.
Must have thorough knowledge of all laws related to commercial lending as well as laws and regulations that govern the operation of Federal Credit Unions. May have independent discretion in the approval of loan requests that are within the guidelines for loans as set by the Board of Directors.Â
