The CALC services group manages the analytics execution platform in the Credit and Market Risk environments within Risk Technology. It provides a calculation framework for building robust and high performance risk calculators, supporting project teams that extend the framework to build specific risk calculators to meet business needs. These calculators run in a distributed computing environment involving LINUX  grid computing cluster that enable large-scale volume and throughput.Job DescriptionAs a framework developer, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining CALC framework to provide new features or enhancements required from project teams. You will also be assigned to integrate new calculators by extending the framework to onboard trade and market data, and to enable grid distribution. In addition to development work, you will also support and resolve issues related to CALC during project releases in SIT, UAT and PROD environmentsRequires Skills: · At least 5 years experience in implementing and supporting high performance Java based distributed application and having a total of 8+ years in application development ·  Very good knowledge of OOM design and concepts. Experience in writing reusable Java based components and libraries. · Advanced understanding of distributed computing. · In-dept understanding and experience in J2EE and other technologies: Weblogic Application Server, Core Java, Multi-threading/Concurrency, JMS/Messaging, JDBC/Oracle/Connection Pool, Data Caching, Hibernate and Spring Remoting · Excellent interpersonal skills, and effective in interfacing with many teams fostering collaboration and establishing strong partnerships and relationships · Experience in installing and configuring Weblogic application server · Working knowledge of grid computing · Excellent debugging and problem resolution skillsDesired Skills: · Knowledge of J2EE application servers; their installation and configuration, specifically Weblogic application server · Working experience in delivery large projects involving many groups through full software development life cycle(SDLC) · Working experience in a financial institution/investment banking environment · Experience in performance tuning and handling huge data volume · Exposure to latest technologies, servers and grid computing platforms · A good problem solver with an analytic mind. · Some knowledge of C/C++ MRINetwork, one of the world's largest search and recruitment organizations, has over 1,000 offices in more than 35 countries.
