Teller responsibilities include: •Fast-paced, high-volume, face-to-face customer contact •Processing customer financial transactions •Identifying and selling Washington Mutual products and services beneficial to the customers' needs •Address customers' questions and concerns and refer to appropriate internal resources for resolution •Establish and control customer files •Identify fraudulent activity to prevent potential losses to the bank •Stay updated on new products and services and maintain awareness of current fraud alerts Tellers work in a fast-paced, high-volume cash-handling environment with daily face-to-face customer contact. The ability to work as part of a team is essential. Some local travel may initially be required for training purposes. Float teller positions will require local travel. Must be flexible with regards to schedule. Previous teller, cash handling and customer service experience preferred. Previous sales experience is helpful.
