Pay,Benefits, & Work Schedule Hours per Week: 21 Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday, 6:00 pm - 10:00 pm, Saturday 8:00 am - 1:00 pm Qualifications High School diploma or equivalency work experience. College degree preferred. Proficiency in basic computer skills required along with ability to learn specific programs as needed. Effective verbal and written communication skills are necessary to negotiate with customers. Ability to remain calm and courteous when handling difficult calls and requests. Ability to work with a team. Flexibility to adapt to changing business needs and requirements. Responsibilities This position is responsible for working with delinquent customers to determine reason for payment delinquency and obtain payment commitment that would minimize/reduce the risk of loss by the Collections department. Principal Responsibilities are: Receive and/or place manual and dialer call to negotiate a payment commitment from customer who is 1-90 days past due, thorough review of credit reports and exploration of other repayment options, and the ability to negotiate a settlement with the customer to mitigate loss to the Bank. Continually develops knowledge of internal policies and procedures. Use of on-line tools such as: credit reports and other skip tracing tools to locate and contact pre-charge off customers.
