Administrative Assistant - Private Banking
Boston Private Bank and Trust Company provides banking and investment services to individuals, their families and their business. It has an investment management emphasis on mid to large cap equity and actively managed fixed income portfolios. Boston Private Bank and Trust Company also offers a First Time Homebuyer Program and "soft second" mortgage financing. Under its Accessible Banking Program, the Bank is an active provider of real estate financing for economic development, small business and affordable housing.Â
Duties and Responsibilities Interact with clients via telephone and in person to research and resolve account inquiries and appropriately follow-up and respond to them. Prepare account documentation and review it for completeness. Prepare and edit sales proposals.  The position also includes calendar updates, scheduling and confirming meetings, phone coverage and maintaining client and general files.  Person must be flexible. This administrative assistant will support the Deposit Management Sales team. This person will also work closely with Client Service staff to open, maintain and research information on deposit accounts. The candidate for this administrative position should possess strong PC skills with accent on word processing (MS Office-Word and Excel) to prepare mail merges using access data base, mass mailings, etc. Daily Administrative duties may include working on various projects as needed. Other Administrative functions may include distributing information internally when necessary and, on occasion, ordering food for meetings, and preparing for and assisting in cleaning up after meetings are over.

Qualifications:
BS/BA degree preferred but not required 2+ years of Banking experience required
Strong prioritization skills
Ability to effectively communicate with clients and senior management
Ability to meet deadlines
Ability to multi-task
Successful experience in a client interfacing position required
