Accounts Payable Manager

ResponsibilitiesManage the Accounts Payable function for the management company, 2 hedge funds and multiple subsidiary companiesAssess the efficiency and effectiveness of current processes to streamline workflow; maximize, develop, implement, and communicate process improvements (e.g., corporate credit card allocation)Manage and coordinate daily activities required to ensure an accurate accounts payable systemDevelop reporting processes for management Prepare monthly sales & use tax returns and year-end 1099 formsReview and allocate monthly employee expense reports to ensure the charges adhere to Plainfield’s expense policyCommunicate and enforce all expense policiesImplement Positive Pay to reduce the threat of check fraudSupervise proper filing and storage of AP recordsPrepare and maintain AP Policy Manual documenting all procedures and vendor allocationsManage and train accounts payable staff of 2

 

Previous ExperienceBachelor’s degree5-7 years of accounts payable experienceStrong organizational/time management skillsProficient in Word and ExcelGreat Plains experience is a big plus!Ability to work in a fast-paced, team environmentAbility to manage and coordinate duties of Accounts Payable staff
