Account Manager
Richard Fleischman & Associates, a growing IT consulting firm located in New York City, NY with large Hedge Fund client base is currently seeking an Account Manager/Client Relations. This is a full time permanent position and not a sales/staffing role.
JOB SUMMARY:
Primary point of contact for client needs. Identify key business opportunities within account(s) and position RFA services accordingly.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Act as dedicated client support and intermediary for all relevant client requirements.
Secure new appointments with existing client base
Develop an account plan per client to position RFA services by client need.
Develop updated competition profile
Update sales database with current information and all new product sales opportunities daily.
Promote RFA product set, to existing client base Increase recurring monthly revenue streams such as Hot site and security and compliance applications
Establish early view into client relocation plans
Enhance client satisfaction through regular ‘non-technical’ contact
Liaison with all relevant business units to pull in resources as needed to accomplish stated objectives.
All other duties as assigned.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
Understanding of the Alternative Asset Market
Understanding of basic technical concepts and trading applications.
Ability to deal directly with CFO, COO and other senior level executives
Ability to captivate a client’s attention and recognize opportunities to align their future requirements to RFA’s product set.
Strong personal leadership and communication abilities.
College Degree or equivalent.
Ability to work with both technical and non-technical staff to solve problems.
Deductive Reasoning- ability to apply general rules to specific problems to produce answers that make sense.
Active listening- ability to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times.
Ability to speak to others to convey information effectively.
Ability to recognize when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong in order to be proactive.
