• Analysis - Designs performance measures; back-end analysis, setup of test-control groups, and model scoring. Tracks direct marketing campaign results in terms of response rates and overall relationship value. Analyzes program results to determine roll-out potential based on response and profitability. Performs monthly analysis of the portfolio to identify trends and to evaluate portfolio metrics. Develops appropriate metrics to evaluate the product usage at the client level. • Statistical Modeling - Using appropriate test and portfolio data, develops predictive tools/models for: likelihood of attrition, likelihood of responding to a given product offering and profit potential. Using on-us and off-us data, develops meaningful client segments or clusters which can lead to effective portfolio marketing strategies. Develops tools/models for targeting prospective clients in existing and new markets.• Program Development - Works with Marketing and Direct Sales program development manager to develop effective marketing programs based on data analysis. Plays an integral role in offer matrix development as it relates to setting up tests and controls. • Administrative - Attends meetings within department and cross-functionally. Contributes to overall corporate initiatives. Perform ad-hoc analysis as required.Requirements: Advanced degree in Statistics, Operation Research, or Economics. 5 - 7 years of experience in database marketing and statistical model development and applications in financial services industry. Strong programming skills in SAS, SQL. Solid knowledge of statistics and experience in applying such concepts/techniques as T-Test, Logistic Regressions, Linear Programming, Experimental Designs, Neural Network and Survival Analysis.Hands-on experience SAS/Stat and SAS/Enterprise Miner are highly desirable, with prior experience and knowledge of CRM strategy a plus. Must be highly proficient with Excel and Access.Strong oral and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Must have prior experience with creating business presentations and delivering presentations to senior management. Able to work in a fast-paced and team environment.Strong Excel & Access skills. Proficient with pivot table functionality. Experience with statistical analysis software, particularly SAS. Must have some knowledge of Visual Basic, Access Basic, and SQL.Strong Analytical and Problem Solving skills. Must be able to work with large databases.
