BASF is proud to be an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer.Responsibilities include achieving annual sales quotas by working with the Area Sales Manager and local Sales Team in Georgia.  Working with end users, establish new accounts and make calls on existing and potential customers.  Keep management informed through regular activity reports and communication.  Provide sales support and training to collision shops in the market.  Identify and resolve customer issues and complaints.  Maintain an expense budget.   This position is part of a job family with multiple levels and will be filled at a level that is commensurate with the candidate's qualifications and experience. PLEASE NOTE:The Region will cover the Atlanta market and surrounding areas of Georgia.  Relocation is NOT offered with this position. Candidates must already reside in the Region OR relocate to the Region without assistance.   

Education Required: 

High school diploma or equivalent.  BASF recognizes Institutes of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent.

 

Required Skills: - Minimum five years of BASF product application experience or five years of industry related experience. - Knowledge of refinish products and industry. - Excellent oral and written communication skills. - Well-developed presentation skills.  - Excellent customer relations skills.  - In depth knowledge of target market and customers.  Ability to travel. - Computer experience with knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint, Internet and Email.
