Supply Planner

Develop and deploy Multi Site Inventory Management and purchasing strategies to ensure continuity of supply and efficient distribution of product from internal and external vendors (primarily Asia), to multiple distribution centers.  Partner with cross functional team stakeholders teams to maximize customer fulfillment while concurrently minimizing working capital investment and landed cost. Ensure alignment with division’s financial plans. Specifically, be accountable for meeting working capital goals and order fill/customer service level goals and assist in analytical reporting for budgetary purposes.  Present recommended monthly purchase adjustments and assumptions to cross-functional S&OP team for consensus agreement. Provide supply chain fulfillment expertise to S&OP process to influence strategies and decisions. Utilize fact-base approach to challenge assumptions inconsistent with brand or key customer strategies and highlight risks and opportunities. Ensure agreements are translated into DC level supply requirements. Identify and resolve demand/supply imbalances and lead time variances with key stakeholders. Partner with product development, sales, demand planning, transportation and vendors to successfully manage product transitions, both end of life and new product introductions within multi-distribution center operating environment. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business or related field or related experience. 5+ years planning experience; inventory management with global reach. Demonstrated ability in managing Asian supplier relationships. Proven ability to conduct complex, quantitative and statistical analyses complimented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions, make recommendations. Requires strong problem solving, negotiation and influencing skills. Project management experience and High level proficiency with SAP. High level proficiency with MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
