Supplier Quality Engineer for Robert Bosch

Robert Bosch Corporation with automotive headquarters in Farmington Hills, MI is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for its Anderson, SC manufacturing facility.

PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 Utilize supplier quality management tools to release suppliers, part numbers, engineering changes, capacity increases, etc. Ensure suppliers are meeting Bosch quality expectations.  Support supplier development through training and auditing. Supplier management. Review PPAPs and work corrective action loops. This position works with Purchasing, Development, Manufacturing, and Customer Quality to meet these objectives.

 



REQUIREMENTS:



·  BS Degree in a Technical Field is required. Engineering or equivalent is highly preferred.

·  Must be able to travel 25-30% both internationally and domestically.

·  Must have 3+ years prior experience in a supplier quality or customer quality role in a manufacturing environment.  Automotive experience is highly preferred.

·  Supplier audit experience is a plus.

·  Must have good oral and written communication skills.

·  Quality Systems knowledge is required (TS & ISO).

 

This facility is located in a scenic portion of South Carolina within minutes of the mountains, with access to several local freshwater lakes and all the activities that they provide. It is also only a few hours to the coast, and within 2 hours of Atlanta.
