Shipping & Receiving Positions
We are seeking Shipping & Receiveing associates to work at our automotive manufacturing plant located in Fairfield, Ohio.Takumi is a Teir One automotive supplier to Toyota. We are building a new facility and we are looking for good people to join our team.
Position includes:
1. Identify parts, count, and weigh outgoing shipments.
*2. Assemble or choose appropriate cartons or containers in what parts, which customer, and when to shipped.
*3. Use appropriate packing material to package outgoing shipments under guidelines.
*4 Ensure that Bill of Lading, Packing Lists and other required under shipping documentation is securely and appropriately attached.
5. Inform all inventory levels of shipping materials and supplies to team leader.
6. Unwrap incoming shipments and checking to endure that the items received match with packing lists.
7. Ensure all items are in good condition before sign off
8. Move materials from receiving area to appropriate department/person or storage area.
9. Any other tasks within the scope of the position as required by management.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to operate forklift, hand truck, and other equipment required in the handling of incoming and outgoing shipments in a manufacturing environment.
Understanding of all OSHA requirements safety requirements.
Perform all tasks in a quality and detail oriented manner.
Must be able lift 50 lbs.
Any and all other tasks within the scope of the position as required by management.
Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical functions.
Willingness to cooperate and work in a strong team environment.
