Senior Financial Analyst

Built for performance, reliability, durability and fuel economy, MaxxForce engines power on-highway commercial vehicles, off-highway commercial vehicles, on-highway consumer pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles and industrial equipment around the world. We are extending our product line to include 11L and 13L Big Bore engines. The Senior Financial Analyst provides periodic reports and special studies for management. May be responsible for unit's annual operating plan, statistical reporting including financial performance, variance explanations and cost analysis. Key challenges include the following: Work closely with the Purchasing Managers to understand and communicate key issues, risks and opportunities, underlying planning assumptions and overall performance objectives in support of Engine Purchasing Complete and analyze accrual in support of the month end accounting function Drive for the completion of operating plans, forecasts, and strategic plans Provide timely, accurate, fact-based, concise, risk-assessed, results-oriented information Provide information and present to executive management using clear/concise business rationale and identify issues, opportunities, and recommendations Assist in the planning and analysis of strategic opportunities, business case analysis and other miscellaneous customer requests Provide business support to the Vee Business Platform Team Provide support for special projects and ad hoc analyses Establish and maintain effective relationships. Interface with and support needs of various company entities and departments through teamwork and technical advice Promote continuous improvement in the department's processes and practices Adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change Effectively operate in a fast-paced environment and comfortably interface with all levels of management and staff Bachelors in Accounting/Finance with at least 5 years of financial planning and analysis experience OR Bachelors in Accounting/Finance with at least 3 years of financial planning and analysis/accounting experience with International's operations, systems and processes OR MBA with minimum 2 years Finance or Accounting experience Positive Attitude, Ethics, and Navistar's Values which support our company's values and a healthy, high performance culture. Desired Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office. Better than average level in Excel. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
