Join the 4,000 employees found throughout our New York City headquarters, and in 20 factories and distribution centers throughout the country…and world.SENIOR MANAGERFinancial Planning and AnalysisHave a major impact on the strategic direction of our organization as you oversee the day-to-day management of our largest division’s analytical team, tasked with the timely and accurate collection/reporting of financial information.Responsibilities will include:planning, forecasting, analyzing and reporting on division’s financial performance (from gross sales to gross margin) by market channel/segmentplanning/tracking all customer discounts and rebatescompleting monthly financial statementsreconciling and controlling the customer rebate processissuing monthly Sales flash reports to managementpreparing analytic’s for quarterly and annual auditsoverseeing a team of Financial Analystsproviding training to staffreviewing and implementing policies/procedures, including ensuring the division is SOX compliantadvising and consulting on various ad-hoc projectshandling other related functions as necessarySuccessful candidate will be an independent thinker with the ability to drive best practices and the business/financial savvy necessary to improve the productivity and profitability of the organization. A Bachelor’s Degree (Master’s preferred) in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics will be expected, as will 10+ years of increasingly responsible experience with financial/strategic planning, analysis, and operational reporting. Superior leadership, analytical, presentation, oral/written communication, and coaching skills are also required. Ability to mange multiple projects simultaneously, a background as a broad based planning specialist, and experience with a medium to large publicly-traded, manufacturing oriented company with international operations also essential.
