SAP FI/CO Project Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead the SAP Finance and Controlling (FI/CO) Team in production support and new enhancement development

·         Support SAP FI/CO Module and any other module changes that impact FI/CO from a testing/training perspective including:

o        Fixed Assets

o        SEM-BPC

·         Support cpmpany’s planned roll-out of International locations

·         Support Vertex tax application integrated with SAP

·         Current Projects:

o        SAP ECC UPGRADE

o        SAP International project roll-out

o        Support potential SAP HCM implementation relative to FI interfacing

·         Work closely with other SAP Team Leads to ensure smooth and coordinated enhancements to company’s enterprise-wide SAP implementation.  Other Teams include SAP Sales & Distribution (SD), Materials Management (MM), Warehouse Management (WM), Production Planning (PP), Variant Configurator (VC), Advance Planner & Optimizer (APO), and Business Information Warehouse (BW).

·         Participate within the company’s  Information Technology organization to establish application standards for the implementation of SAP’s FI/CO Modules.

SKILLS

  3-5 years FI/CO Configuration Five years experience in information technology supporting financial systems. Experience working with a variety of SAP end users of varying skill levels Ability to manage multiple projects / tasks Ability to communicate with International Users as well as Vendor Resources SAP FI/CO Configuration including Pricing, AP/AR, Chart of Accounts etc. MS Office Suite including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, MS Project etc. Functional knowledge of SAP Modules that touch FI/CO (MM/PP/WM/SD) Basic understanding of Financial Accounting, Treasury functions, etc. Demonstrated ability to lead and work in a large, cross-functional, matrixed organization. US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Required Bachelors of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related discipline required
