Quality Supervisor/Specialist
Advanced Assembly, LLC, a joint venture between Comer Holdings LLC and Lear Corporation, which supplies seating systems to General Motors is seeking a dynamic, team oriented, experienced Quality Supervisor/Specialist who is a highly motivated individual with proven leadership abilities and has quality/production supervisory experience working in a unionized manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for:
1. Supervision and coordination of work activities of production employees.
2. Feedback the daily defects to management personnel and shop floor operators.
3. Set-up containment when required.
4. Serve as customer liaison between Advanced Assembly and GM at Fort Wayne assembly plant.
5. Public relations work with all areas involving Advanced Assembly seats at GM.
6. Interpret company policies to workers and enforce safety regulations.
7. Administering disciplinary action as needed.
8. Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
9. Maintaining time and production records.
10. TS16949 application of procedures and auditing.
11. Participate in continuous improvement activities.
12. Actively participate in self-directed work team model.
