Quality Inspector
Minimum Requirements (Skills):
- The ability to read, understand and interpret prints as well as customer specifications and requirements.
- Able to interpret parts list and Assembly instructions.
- Understanding and skill working with geometry and trigonometry.
- Proficiency in fundamentals of dimensional metrology.
- Knowledge of CMM operation and fundamentals of programming.
- Excellent comprehension of machining process.
- Through understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerance.
- Computer literate (training will be provided in the various software programs)
Essential Job Functions:
- Verify product conformance through extensive use of inspection tools and gauges.
- Operation of the Faro CMM for verification of product to customer requirements.
- Capable of learning how to create, edit and maintain Faro-CMM programs.
- Verify completion of Quality documents and accurate representation of product flow throughout the system.
- Assist in the maintenance of the Calibration System and its tools and gages.
Education/Experience:
- High school education or equivalent.
- Relevant experience in quality assurance (3-5 years preferred).
