Through product engineering centers in Europe, Japan and the USA, they have the combined capability to design and develop complete steering systems for your application. Their products range from traditional steering columns and joints to electric power steering systems. Their application strengths range from passenger cars and crossover vehicles to special demands of sport utility vehicles and trucks. Quality Engineer- Southeast, VT- 76342 Summary:This candidate will support manufacturing lines on a daily basis with any quality issues they may have and see that the issues are addressed. He/She will champion process changes to the customer and submit, follow up and close out the process change requests. They will be involved on the APQP team and be the quality contact to the customer in the event of any quality issue. Responsibilities: Support customer in times of quality issues Support manufacturing lines in times of quality issues Update relevant QA documentation, RGA/ROR logs and forms Prepare and submit process change request packages and customer specific APQP documentation Support manufacturing line during new start up Coordinate cross functional team meetings for quality related issues Required Skills: US Citizen Bachelor’s degree in related field 4-6 years of position-related experience Lean manufacturing experience Familiar with packaging, product line management, packaging returnables, and electrical equipment Thorough understanding of CAD/CAM, casting/forging, automotive industry, value engineering, government regulations, and equipment performance How to Apply:Please send Microsoft Word version of your resume to MarciSanders@spherion.com Include Job Title, Location, and Salary Requirements in subject line Since 1946, Spherion has been helping talented individuals find rewarding job opportunities that drive excellence in their career.
