Project Engineer - Calibration of Current Vee Platforms

We are extending our product line to include 11L and 13L Big Bore engines. The Project Engineer - Calibration of Current Platforms will be working on diesel engine calibration for performance and emissions. Responsibilities include: Engine emissions certification, in-use emissions testing. Provide calibration documentation required for the Calibration Release Process (dFMEA, DVP&R, Cal compare). Support vehicle manufacturer on issues related to vehicle integration and calibration. Work with vehicle for drivability and chassis emissions. Coordinate work with integration team, electronic support and technicians to meet program deadlines. Responsible for creating tasks and charts, managing programs, projects, and presentations and training the less senior engineers. Will also become involved and be responsible for customer relations with vendors, dealers, and customers. Works with minimum supervision within parameters established by supervisor, may provide task direction to technicians and others assigned with minimal direction and routine reporting. B.S. Technical degree with 5 years Engineering experience; OR M.S. with thesis in core competency; OR Ph.D. in general area of core competency without experience. ETAS/INCA or other calibration tool knowledge and experience. General proficiency in MS Windows, Word and Excel. Open to travel 25-50% Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture. Emissions and performance calibration experience on an engine and / or vehicle. Understanding of emissions equipments and their functionality. Understanding of diesel engine operation.
