Project Engineer

Four Seasons is the largest aftermarket automotive temperature control parts supplier in the industry and the largest compressor manufacturer in the world. We are looking for a motivated Project Engineer.

 

Major duties/responsibilities:

·  Evaluate customer requirements and determine appropriate design.

·  Perform design analysis for current programs, future products and cost reduction opportunities.

·  Initiate and coordinate the design, development, and validation process from concept through production launch.

·  Determine test requirements

·  Provide technical direction to support personnel.

 

Requirements:

·  BSME (mech./mfg.) minimum, MSME preferred

·  5 to 10 yrs exp. in industrial design & manufacturing; project engineering

·  Good understanding of HVAC systems (auto or commercial)

·  Solid knowledge of heat exchangers

·  OE background strongly preferred

·  Exposure to quality systems (QS9000/TS16949)

·  Experience with FMEA, DFM, DVP&R, GD&T, Tolerance Stacks

·  Demonstrated problem solving abilities

·  CAD

·  Familiar with lean manufacturing
