Built for performance, reliability, durability and fuel economy, MaxxForce engines power on-highway commercial vehicles, off-highway commercial vehicles, on-highway consumer pickup trucks and sport utility vehicles and industrial equipment around the world.   The Program Timing and Documentation Analyst develops and maintains current program documentation as affected by customer and/or functional organization requirements, i.e., program assumptions, functional objectives, feature model index, customer quote features and billable changes, statement or work, reliability statement of work and customer specific requirements.  Primary responsibilities include:  Develops overall program timing plans and monitors adherence to schedule. Liaises with customer timing function; coordinates functional timing plans and work plans to ensure that program milestones and job #1 are attained.  Resolves timing conflicts and negotiates to reach consensus among all the stake holders. Develops and maintains program timing database per resource management processes and centralized database/program web site for QVP (Quality Value Planning) and PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) documentation: DVP&R's (Design Verification Plan & Reports), FMEA's (Failure Modes and Effects Analysis), Engineering sign-offs, etc. Monitors program progress continuously and alert the program manager and functional organizations about timing risks. BS degree in Engineering, Program Management, Business, or Information Technology At least 5 years commercial vehicle, military vehicle, diesel engine manufacturing or aerospace industry expeirence U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status required Travel as required (approximately 25%) – primarily day trips to company and customer locations with a potential for over night stays. Desired Skills: Positive Attitude, Ethics and International Values which support our company's values, and a healthy, high performance culture Advanced technical or business degree. Timing minded, self starter, drives for results Program or project management experience with large cross-functional projects utilizing matrixed organizational structures. Understand of QS-9000 requirements. Understanding of APQP and PPAP requirements. Knowledge of International Engine Group product development process (QVP) Knowledge of product design and development. Understanding of statistical and problem solving techniques (i.e. QFD, FMEA, DOE, SPC, PSDM and DFMA.) Thorough understanding of program timing optimization techniques. Engine, vehicle or aeronautical industry development and engineering process knowledge. Knowledge of manufacturing tooling and timing. Ability to make comprehensive program presentations to customers and senior company executives. Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office products including Word, Project Enterprise, Excel, Power Point, Visio. Experience in developing and maintaining work breakdown structures.
