Product Engineer / R & D Engineer - TEXTILE

Must have a minimum of a Bachelors degree in Textiles, Technical Sciences, Engineering or other related field. 

EXCELLENT COMPANY. VERY WELL ESTABLISHED ORGANIZATION. DOMINANT COMPANY IN THEIR INDUSTRY. VERY HEAVY INTO LEAN MANUFACTURING/SIX SIGMA.

Qualifications:

Must have experience in the Textile industry.

Background in the Automotive industry preferred.

Prefer understanding of textile manufacturing processes and automotive development processes. 

Must possess strong communication skills and have the the ability to multitask. 

Computer literacy are also required (capable in Microsoft Word, Excel, Project and Power Point).

Self motivator who works with minimal direction, makes decisions independently, and is able to motivate others to complete the task at hand. 

Six Sigma experience a plus.

Responsibilities:

Position will be responsible for developing new Textile products for Automotive applications.  Complete documentation of all trials and performance of new products launched into manufacturing.

Development of Standard Operating Procedures for new products

Assurance of new product performance Project Management Analysis of data through out trials Assist in maintenance of company Development System Technical Service Assistance
