 PROCESS ENGINEER

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must be bilingual English/Spanish. Ensures that performance, process and quality of products conforms to company established quality standards. Acts as liaison between Production and Technical departments. Conducts time studies and analyzes product development feasibility, taking into account cost, existing and/or additional technology and resources needed.. Evaluates and coordinates staffing and technical resource needs. Provides production floor and assembly lines support in technical matters relating to the launching of a new product.

 NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Process improvement implementation and management to ensure timely and cost effective product launch. Provides technical assistance and serves as liaison to production accociates in launching the first prototype and the first production run. Associate training and product flow.

 PRODUCTION PROCESS IMPROVEMENT

Evaluates current processes, identifies areas for improvement and develops and implements process improvement procedures factoring in safety and ergonomics. Conducts profitability analyses. Is directly involved in the recommendation and decision-making regarding equipment needs/selection and capital investment. Provides direct, technical support to production and assists with all manufacturing and quality-related issues.

 NEW TECHNOLOGY

Keeps abreast of all new processes and technology developments- tools, machines and equipment Requests vendor quotes and selects suppliers in cooperation with other departments involved. Adheres to product specifications and ensures adherence to quality and cost. Anticipates and communicates any potential delays.

 POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Must have a degree in Manufacturing or Mechanical engineering, be Innovative and have initiative. Recent engineering university graduates encouraged to apply! Relevant MANUFACTURING experience and/or internship with similar responsibilities. Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented with the ability to handle multiple projects of varying complexity. Must be able to work independently and as a member of a team and have the ability to adapt as the external environment and the organization evolves.  Strong process improvement. Must have the ability to effectively assist production floor personnel in resolving technical issues. Must Be Bilingual English/Spanish. French is a plus!.
