Process Engineer w/Supervisor Exp. Preferred

HII currently has a Process Engineer supervisor position vacant on the 1st shift at the Kernersville, NC facility.  A bachelor's degree in textile engineering, mechanical engineering, or chemical engineering is preferred.  This position will also require supervising approximately 8-10 hourly personnel along with using your engineering skills for our airbag processes.  The ideal candidate should possess 4-6 yrs experience in the engineering field.The KV Plant applies coatings, laminates, and rubberized material for airbags, life vests and disposable blood pressure cuffs, and for the major tire manufacturers in the US, respectively, as well as other specialty fabrics.  We utilize continuous process improvement with Six Sigma and Kaizen projects; 5S and 5P programs at this facility as well.The HII-KV Plant is an ISO 14001 and TS16949 registered facility.
