Business Unit Description As a division of SPX Corporation, SPX Filtran designs, manufactures and distributes a world-class quality line of automatic transmission filters to the automotive industry and other industry segments utilizing filtration technology. Located in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago, we are the leading supplier of world class transmission components to the global automotive industry. Job Summary The Molding Process Engineer is responsible for conducting studies and analyzing problems regarding process deficiencies, troubleshooting operational issues, and helping to coach technicians. The successful candidate will be a key member of plant engineering team and participate in plantwide quality, 5S, and safety initiatives. Qualifications Interested candidates should possess at least five years of injection molding experience, strong knowledge of Molding process, solid leadership and analytical skills along with a passion for continous improvement. Spanish speaking skills, Lean manufacturing, and Six Sigma exposure are a definite advantage.
