Pro/E Sheetmetal Design EngineerDescription: Join the growing team at one of the world's leading manufacturers of heavy duty off road construction equipment. Our client, a Fortune 50 company, has an immediate need for 2 Pro/E product design engineers. The product design engineers will be responsible for the design of the metallic light fabrication systems and components that support the features and update offerings of earth moving vehicles (wheel loaders). Component design could include any of the following: Platforms / Fenders / Fuel Tanks / Ladders / Handrails / Hydraulic Service Centers and Electrical Service Centers. The Design Engineer will be responsible for performing complex analysis work and identifying and resolving design problems. Major job focus is on technical delivery. This person will work directly with different product groups world-wide, as well as suppliers, customers and/or other teams. Requirements: Must have: * B.S. Degree in Mechanical or Agricultural Engineering * 1 - 3 years of design experience * Experience with sheet metal fabrication (such as CNC laser/plasma cutting), press brake bending, punch operations and welding. * Experience compiling layout files from reference models and developing design concepts around them. * Effective written and oral communication skills. Highly Desired Qualifications: * 1-3 years of experience using Pro/Surface. * Familiarity with various plastic fabricating processes, especially molding of large fiberglass (RTM, LCM, SMC) panels, large thermoformed (vacuum and/or pressure forming) panels and roto-molded containment vessels.
