Plant Environmental Engineer

- Audit and develop plans for continuous improvements - Lead the development and implementation of ISO 14001 environmental management system integrated with OHSAS 18001, and TS 16949- Lead air, water, waste (Hazardous and non hazardous) management including reduction initiatives, spill prevention, energy consumption with a focus on green house gas reduction. - Lead all environmental projects including management of risk assessment, lay out, general and structural construction, containment, piping, ventilation, mist, dust control, process waste, and utilities for all environmental work process and projects. - Assure safety performance of all contractors engaged in environmental projects while maintaining an overall safe environmental system for the facilities. - BSEE with relevant experience or BSME with three to five years of environmental experience, PE with CPE Certification preferred. - Knowledge of environmental regulations, i.e. ISO 14001 certification. - Willingness to become a certified auditor in ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001 & TS 16949. - Auditing skills, ability to become a lead auditor for ISO 14001, TS 16949 and assist with OHSAS 18001 implementation and development of the Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems (HSEM) at both sites. - Knowledge of environmental requirements including waste treatment systems and auxiliary equipment and process as they relate to environmental process equipment and their operations. - Managerial skills with department budgetary responsibility.- Demonstrated project management skills.
