Part-Time Sales Assistant
We have a leading global position in compression, automation and drive technology. 5,300 employees attained a turnover of around 730 million Euro in 2006. Business is focused on key components and services for piston compressors, pneumatic and hydraulic systems for automotive, construction and mechanical engineering, as well as components and systems for drive train shift and clutch systems in a vast range of vehicles.

For our busy Sales office in Auburn Hills we are looking for a Part-Time Sales Assistant.

The main role of this position is to manage daily office operations and to provide our sales staff with administrative support.
Â
Responsibilities:
 Assigns RFQ numbers, updates and maintains RFQ Log Assists with monthly reporting Prepares various business reports Focuses on continuous improvement of office processes and procedures Maintains personnel schedules, Lotus Notes calendar management Maintains inventory of office supplies and equipment Takes and transcribes meeting minutes Prepares and assists in the preparation of presentations Prepares charts and spreadsheets Conducts internet research, compiles data Maintains customer contact information Proofreads business correspondence, makes suggested improvements Receives, handles and transfers incoming phone calls Prepares expense reports Other duties as assigned

 Job Requirements:
 Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) Must possess excellent verbal and written skills Proficient in Lotus Notes Advanced math, English and grammar Must be familiar with web access/internet connections Be able to prioritize and must posess excellent multi-tasking skills Knowledge of the automotive industry preferred Knowledge of German language preferred, but not required Must be able to work independently
