PRODUCT ENGINEER

PRODUCT ENGINEER

Our client, a multinational automotive supplier, has currently multiple openings for Product Engineers to join its North American team. The successful candidates will have an extensive automotive program background with proven experience working with OEMs. The job requirements and responsibilities will be as follows:Â

Job Responsibilities: Oversee the design and development of package tray and compression molded products. Lead the engineering activity for assigned programs to ensure that product meets customer specifications. Make sure program milestones are achieved. In charge of monitoring and coordinating the engineering process. Provide engineering direction to the team as required. Be the technical expert of the program.

Job Requirements: Knowledge and use of design tools including Fit & Finish Decks, Construction and Master Section Development as defined in FHMS. Experience with package tray design and product launches. Experience dealing with OEM customers (VW experience would be a plus). Ability to multitask. Understanding of FHMS and implementation on a program. Bachelor degree in engineering.
