PLC Technician / Engineer

The Organization:

2AM Group LLC is a young and rapidly growing provider of technical service for the Automotive, Aerospace and Marine Industries.

Among the services offered by 2AM are project management, quality systems development, product launch management, engineering services, manufacturing support including assembly, and sequencing; a range of responsive services such as containment, inspection, sort, rework, and repair, metal finishing, finished product inspection; logistics services and management, foreign trade zone consulting and service.

The Opportunity:

2AM has an opportunity for an Electrical / PLC Program Instructor.  The incumbent will be responsible for working with clients in developing and leading electrical and PLC training programs for 2AM clients.  The focus will be on training experienced electricians, mechanics and electro/mechs to become proficient in the programming and trouble shooting of PLC and robotic systems.

Qualifications:

A journeyman level industrial electrician or electrical engineer who is experienced and comfortable working with PLC’s, (Siemens and Allen Bradley, SLC 5 through STEP 5, and Rockwell software), in machine and robotic applications, (KUKA, ABB and Motoman).  Experience as an instructor or trainer would be a plus. 

Pay Structure:

Compensation will be commensurate with qualifications experience.  The position will qualify for a bonus opportunity tied to individual and company performance.
