Operations Manager

LKQ Self Service of South Texas

 

LKQ Self Service of South Texas Auto Parts is now hiring an Operations Manager to help manage an established auto recycling facility in Houston, TX. This position requires a highly motivated, self-starting individual with experience in light and/or heavy industry.  Experience in automotive parts or recycling is preferred but not required.

 

LKQ Self Service of South Texas Auto Parts is a division of the LKQ Corporation, the nations leading automotive recycler and used parts supplier.  LKQ is a medium sized publicly traded company (LKQX) with locations nation wide.  The Houston facility is a self-service operation focusing on high volume auto recycling and retail part sales.

 

Requirements:

 

Ø  Must be a good leader with strong organizational, communication and team building skills.

Ø  Possess a friendly, motivated, self-starting attitude.

Ø  Strong work ethic with commitment to extra hours when needed.

Ø  Customer service focused

Ø  Must be able to multi task and possess rapid decision making capabilities.

Ø  Possess basic computer skills including Windows, Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.

Ø  Bilingual capabilities are a plus, but not required.

Ø  Willing to work weekends, holidays and evenings.  Flexible schedule to cover plant hours of operation.

Ø  Must successfully pass drug screen and background checks.

Ø  Previous management experience a plus.
