Mechanical Design Engineer - showcase your design, project management skills in high impact role

This position offers you the opportunity to impact the growth and future of GT Development and also acquire a broad knowledge of our business. You'll drive the final design, development, testing, and release of innovative products in a role that combines design engineering and project management. In addition, you'll join as we are exploring new synergies with sister divisions within Norgren, our $1.1 billion parent corporation, and you'll learn new technologies and applications. Your success in this role could set you up to pursue a variety of opportunities within GT or Norgren.

o be a good fit for this opportunity you will have solid mechanical design experience; a background in the truck or automotive industry is preferred but not required. You'll also need a demonstrated ability to manage the new product introduction process from design through hand-off to production. We're looking for a professional who is innovative and truly loves solving mechanical problems. In addition, you'll need working familiarity with 3D CAD programs (we use Pro/E).Hands-on experience as a design engineer working with small mechanical items is a plus.

We also are expanding into Powertrain and Suspension based on expertise from sister divisions.
