Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor
NACCO Materials Handling Group, Inc., a world-class manufacturer of industrial lift trucks and a subsidiary of NACCO Industries, is currently seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor for the Greenville, NC facility. NACCO Materials Handling Group produces industrial lift trucks under both the Hyster and Yale brand names.Â

Responsibilities:
·        Supervise Manufacturing Engineering staff and provide lean manufacturing support to Fabrication and Mast Assembly areas in their daily work assignments and special projects
·        Analyze and recommend equipment for all areas of manufacturing
·        Schedule and supervise the installation of capital projects into the plant
·        Identify and implement quality and efficiency improvements in Mast Assembly, Paint,  Weld and Fabrication operations
·        Review and ensure accuracy of all standard hours for product manufactured in the facility
·        Make decisions on manufacture vs. purchase of new parts
·        Introduce new products into production, integrating with production, analyzing equipment and process requirements
·        Assist in all aspects of supervision and employee development of approximately 5-8 direct reports

Requirements:
·        4 year ME or related technical degree plus a minimum of 5 years experience in manufacturing environment; material handling manufacturing and/or design experience is a plus
·        Minimum of 2 years Supervisory or Management experience
·        Manufacturing Engineering experience (i.e. manufacturing processes, tooling/fixture design, ergonomics, facility design, motion/time study, simulations, etc.)
·        Prefer Fabrication, Paint, and Tooling experience
·        Prefer Six Sigma knowledge and experience
·        Excellent computer skills, including MS Office, CAD/CAM, PRO-E, and COREL
·        In-depth understanding of JIT and lean manufacturing techniques and philosophy
·        Solid understanding of relevant ISO standards and EPA laws/regulations
·        Strong problem solving, analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills
