Manufacturing Engineer - this is why you became an engineer: conceptual design + hands-on work

You will enjoy the best of both worlds in this role: the family-oriented culture of a smaller company as well as the stability and resources of our parent corporation, Norgren, a global leader in motion and fluid control technologies. You'll do the kind of things that motivated you to become an engineer in the first place, from designing processes and equipment for new products to troubleshooting production lines. And you'll do it hands-on, including working in our onsite machine shop. Your success in this role could set you up to pursue a variety of opportunities within GT or Norgren.

To be a good fit for this opportunity you will have a strong mechanical aptitude and broad mechanical engineering skills, as well as significant experience in manufacturing, ideally including laying out the flow of process steps. We're looking for a professional with solid troubleshooting skills, including a demonstrated ability to drive to root causes, and an eye for spotting opportunities to improve. You also will need strong people skills and the ability to interact effectively with people at all levels of the organization. A background in lean principles and experience with APQP and ISO documentation would be a plus.
