We are looking for an experienced Skilled Trades Maintenance Supervisor who can lead our Premier Team.  Our account is with a major Automobile Manufacturer in Youngstown, Ohio.  Our supervisor positions have the promotion potential to lead to Manager Assignments

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

·         A minimum of 7 years of progressive responsibilities in mechanical maintenance, mechanical work activities with facilities maintenance experience supervising Skilled Trades employees.

·         Ability to oversee Premier Team Members in the daily activities of the shift 

·         Effective interpersonal skills to work with the customer site management team, site occupants and suppliers

·         Knowledgeable in facilities management industry standards and best practices

·         Possess quality work standards

·         Strong Leadership skills

·         Possess strong Customer Service mentality.

·         Computer literate

·         Strong organizational and planning skills

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Administrative Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

·         Communicate effectively with plant personnel, and suppliers.

·         Track and report departmental costs.

·         Manage, track and report preventive maintenance schedules.

·         Provide regular written departmental performance reports.

·         Supervise Premier Team members.

·         Coordinate appropriate activities with local suppliers (vendor control).

“Supervisory Maintenance Responsibilities� Include (but are not limited to): 

 

The equipment and systems to be operated, maintained and repaired include all plumbing, mechanical equipment and systems, and HVAC equipment and systems installed at the site buildings, including, but not limited to:

 

·         HVAC equipment and systems

·         Domestic water equipment and systems

·         Plumbing

·         Electrical

·         Heating equipment and systems

·         Potable (domestic) Hot Water System Pasteurization/Chemical Treatment

·         Locksmithing

·         Dock levelers, equipment, doors

·         Material handling racks and equipment

Physical Requirements:  The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the key actions of job.

 

·         The employee is also required to talk and/or hear in an industrial setting (noise level is moderate). The employee is frequently required to stand and walk on concrete surface from 4-8 hours. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.  

·          The vision requirements: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception and adjust focus.
